Overview
As a fan of email marketing as a customer, I have always had a knack for what the interested end user wants to see. Learning how to strategize content, understand audiences, connect campaigns cohesively, and put a brand's best foot forward has been a willing journey for me. You can see that I believe people don't want to be overwhelmed, but receive clear messaging that's easy to read and engage with is usually my design approach.
Terra Health
Terra Health makes excellent and unique supplements that target performance, comfort, treatment and more. I arrived on the team as the initial creative direction beyond their packaging itself, and so sought to build a brand world around them. Conveying the lifestyle around the products was the angle we landed on, so the emails needed to highlight lifestyle-rich photos, performance fitness imagery, and a clean and scientific-backed expertise on how each offering can target needs. Designing the brand around this allowed me to indulge my clean, bold, minimalistic desires and create a design system that spoke effectively to customers, driving DTC revenue and breathing life into the rest of Terra's brand marketing.
Rather Outdoors
I got up to speed on Rather's 5+ fishing brands by digging in quickly to building templates for the coming year's designs. Email is a great example of this, mixing product, general brand awareness, engaging photography, and messaging. These templates increased creative efficiency for my team of 4 designers, by answering the questions of exploration and structure, so each month's email creative could be produced from these existing frameworks. It also streamlined cross-functional communication and project workflow, since brand teams could use the template to know what sections to plan content and strategy, thereby delivering us the precise inputs we need to ready the graphics headache-free.
