Overview
The creative direction was to 'get in the studio and do something different.' I took on the challenge to think out of the box. Not just feature cool textures, anglers, and products on white backgrounds. With the help of my great photographer, Simeon, we crafted a unique situation to make the products stand out in a way that was new to the brand's clientele, but not too foreign as to confuse them on who we were.
How We Did It
For Strike King Lure Co., I wanted to show off a new line of baits that featured premium details like custom paint and hooks. Instead of simply getting a nice lifestyle photo or using something frequently seen in previous years, I opted to photograph them in studio in a new light. Literally - we changed the lights and background, and brought out the smoke. Shooting it over clear glass in this way really put the new paint jobs front and center!

Results
The “Make it Elite” campaign instantly signified to the consumer that these were not ‘just another new product’, but this is something unique and ultra premium. The campaign featured print ads, paid digital, landing pages and others - driving sales beyond the initial forecasts in a competitive market.
